Man, this is really bad. I haven't been out photographing much at all. I always end up doing something else; I'll say to myself the night before 'This is ridiculous, I have to do some photography tomorrow'. Well, as you can see that hasn't happened as the 'next day' usually consists of a friend calling me up and convincing me to do something else. Argh. Kinda makes me look forward to when most of them go off to Uni again. But I love them, I do.
Anyway, this summer has been amazing. Last big thing we did was Reading Festival, which was insane; first time for me and defiantly not the last. Ten of us managed to get in as volunteer workers which meant that we didn’t have to pay for a ticket, we got free food and drinks (yar), and we got to sleep in the staff camping area. Yes, the other camp sites are more fun but at the end of the day you want somewhere you can get a good nights sleep without the fear of being the poor bastard who gets his tent smashed in by an insanely drunk person in a shopping trolley being pushed around at 30 miles an hour (it happened and was so funny). Plus, you get to relieve yourself in an actual toilet rather than a hole in the ground disguised as a toilet. Anyway, can’t be bothered to go into anymore details as I don’t want to be sitting here for the rest of the night.
That’s all for now. I did actually manage to get out the other day and do some photography for a couple of hours but I’ve managed to misplace the cable that connects my camera to my laptop so until I find that, no photos.
