This photograph was taken a couple of days ago with my friend Johanna - who's also from Switzerland - whom I met at the New York Film Academy. We went around central London for about an hour before I had to go meet another friend so we didn't get very much photography done.
This is a shot of a little girl holding onto her fathers hand whilst entering a water fountain along the river Thames. Water sprouted randomly out of lines that made up a cross encompassed by a box, enabling people to run inside and get stuck behind walls of water. It was funny.
I'm rather torn with this shot. I don't like it because it's a bit bland in terms of contrast and the lighting isn't very good. However, I like it because of the moment I captured. What do you think?
Taken at 43mm, F/4.2, shutter speed 1/100 and ISO-80. Some de-saturation, curves and selective colour adjustments in Photoshop.
