This was taken yesterday at the Speakers Corner in Hyde Park just before going into the Wireless festival. He was one amongst many speakers there that day; spouting their exaggerated opinions at the masses expecting them to believe every word they say. Religion is topic that has, is and will be argued to no end.
This man, however, was surrounded to by no one, and those that were had their backs to him. When my friend and I got there he was making an effort to speak to people but to no avail and was instead left with nobody to talk to. I got the impression that it was something he was used to and this made him the most interesting character to me.
This is my first attempt at taking a photo of somebody in public. I usually capture inanimate objects but wanted to do this as well. This is my first but certainly not my last and as a result I would like to know what you think.
Taken at 43mm, F/4.2, shutter speed 1/170 and ISO-80. Some contrast, levels, curves and selective colour adjustments in Photoshop.
